The Trinity Sunday Choir also sings at special services throughout the year such as Easter and Christmas. The choir is directed by Spencer Belyea.
Spencer Belyea has been our Organist/Choirmaster since March 1990. He came to us after musician positions at the Mission Church (now Parish of Millidgeville) and Portland Church in the City’s North End. He is a Music graduate of Mt. Allison University and Education graduate of St.Thomas University, and has studied English church music and conducting at the Royal School of Church Music in Britain.
Mr.Belyea is a charter-life member of the Association of Canadian Choral Conductors and has taught and conducted many choirs for church and community over the years. Presently he directs the Saint John Chorale, Symphony Chorus, KVHS Bluetones and the N.B. Diocesan School of Church Music. Organist Belyea enjoys special Trinity music projects like the annual community Carol Service and Handel’s Messiah and has collaborated on two special Royal services.
