Estate Book Sale
November 22nd 4-7pm
Trinity will be holding its’ annual Fall Book and Christmas sale on Friday evening November 22nd from 4-7pm and again on Saturday November 23rd from 10am thru to 1pm in the Bennett Room. There will be three significant book collections featured in this book sale along with many other contributions. There will be a huge culinary selection, (donated by Jim Brittain), spiritual library (donated by the hospital Chaplain) and a sorted number of books donated by Jim Mckenna as he reduced his personal library.
We will have the Christmas Corner where gently used decorations, novelties and some Christmas baking will be in the offering.
An addition this year, Susanne Sutton’s fathers’ high-quality knitting with Briggs & Little yarn, – socks, mittens with a finger and thumb. These make wonderful gifts for you and yours. 50% of the proceeds to charity – half to the SPCA and the other half being directed to the Trinity Bells.

The Words of Christmas
A day of reflection led by David Goss
Saturday, November 30 2024
10:00 am-2:00 pm
Jesus, Mary, Joseph, Bethlehem, Angels, Shepherds, Donkey, Star, Magic, Joy, Noel, Carol, Emmanuel, Hallelujah, Saviour, Peace.
David works with words daily and has for decades. Through his long held interest in all things Christmas, which began with his father’s guidance in staging pageants at St. George’s Church in the 50s, David has collected a variety of stories, poems, reflections that give insight into these familiar words of Advent and Christmas. He will share these in 20 minute segments during this day of quiet and reflection. There will be time in each segment for comment from the participants, and also time for quiet reflection and for perusal of the many books of Christmas detail that David has collected.
Bring a sandwich for the noon break. Coffee, tea, and a delicious trifle will be available.

Each Session will be:
– Word selected 10 minutes
– Discussion 5 minutes
– Reflection or Quiet time 5 minutes.
– There will be flexibility within the 20 minutes, but sessions will start and end sharply
