Trinity welcomes children of all ages, at all services!
Children at Trinity are treated as full members of the worshipping community, and every effort is made to engage them and provide them with meaningful ways to contribute.
Family Prayers – A collection of prayers and meditations
For Parents of Young Children: There are brightly coloured bags with items your child can look at and play with when he or she is with you in church. You’ll find them hanging on hooks in the hall (Bennett Room just to the left upon entering via the Charlotte Street entrance). Please help yourself and remember
to return the bags after the service. If you are new and don’t know where the hall is, please ask one of the greeters.
We also encourage parents to feel free to get up and walk about, to feed, or otherwise interact as they would at home.
Trinity has a Family Corner right in the church (along the North Aisle) – you will find a comfortable carpeted area where children can play; seating (even a rocking chair) for parents; baskets with toys, books, crayons and activities. We want parents to know they can participate in the liturgy while keeping little ones engaged. We hope you come to check it out!
Children are always welcome at Trinity!
Absolutely! She or he will receive a blessing while you receive communion.
Yes. The East Entrance (on Charlotte Street) has a ramp, and there is a ramp that leads all the way into the church, perfect for strollers (or running toddlers!).
There is a washroom near the Bennett Room (at the East Entrance on Charlotte Street) that includes a change table.
